Responsible for preparing technical drawings and design documentation for physical security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, ANPR, and related low-current systems.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Auto CAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and shop drawings for security systems.
Develop CCTV camera layouts, Access Control layouts, equipment room layouts, rack elevations, and cable routing drawings.
Prepare single-line diagrams, block diagrams, network diagrams, and system architecture drawings.
Coordinate drawings with architectural, electrical, civil, and MEP drawings.
Prepare device schedules, cable schedules, equipment details, and installation details.
Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and approved design changes.
Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
Support engineers in design development, quantity take-off, and technical submissions.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience preparing drawings for ELV or security systems.
Strong experience with Auto CAD.
Experience with CCTV, Access Control, IDAS, Intercom, ANPR, and security system layouts.
Ability to read architectural, electrical, and MEP drawings.
Knowledge of Visio, Revit, or BIM is an advantage.
Good understanding of structured cabling and security network drawings.
Good English communication and documentation skills.
