Estimation & quantity survey engineer

We are looking for an experienced Estimation & Quantity Survey Engineer to join our Commercial team and play a key role in tendering, quantity take-offs, and project cost estimation. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure drawings. Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ)Review consultant-issued BOQs and identify discrepancies or missing scope. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Perform rate analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Controls during tender preparation. Prepare tender clarifications, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial qualifications. Build and maintain a comprehensive cost database for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs. Participate in bid submissions and commercial negotiations. Upon project award, hand over the estimate and cost assumptions to the delivery team. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.5-10 years of experience in construction estimation. Strong experience in building and infrastructure projects. Excellent understanding of construction methods and pricing. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Strong analytical and commercial mindset. Technical Skills Preferred experience with: Cost XBluebeam Revu Auto CADMicrosoft Excel (Advanced)Plan Swift (Optional)Primavera P6 (Basic Understanding)Procore (Preferred)Oracle Net Suite (Preferred)
