We’re Hiring | Planning Engineer – Construction
Tathmeer is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our construction team and support the successful planning, monitoring, and delivery of residential and commercial projects.
Location: Muscat, Oman
Industry: Construction - Residential & Commercial Projects
Experience: 7-10 years
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, develop, and maintain project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Monitor project progress and regularly update schedules.
Conduct delay and time-impact analyses and support EOT claims.
Prepare look-ahead schedules, histograms, and S-curves.
Track critical activities and highlight potential risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
Support tender planning, resource planning, and project close-out documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
7-10 years of relevant experience in construction planning and scheduling.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory; MS Project knowledge is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, resources, and productivity.
Experience in delay analysis, claims, and EOT preparation is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Oman or GCC construction experience is preferred.
Candidates currently available in Oman will be given preference.
