Location Oman – On-site Job Category Information Technology (IT) & Software Engineering & Technical Others / Miscellaneous Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Consultant for a 1-year on-site contract opportunity in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience in Java development and enterprise application support, with strong technical knowledge across Java-based web technologies, system integrations, and application customization. The successful candidate will work with Java, JSP, HTML/HTML5, XML,. NET, i-Support, JTF frameworks, Web Services, APIs, and system integrations. The role also includes application testing, UAT support, data migration, reporting, customization, and Oracle CRM/Revenue support. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support Java-based enterprise applications. Work with Java, JSP, HTML/HTML5, XML, and. NET technologies. Develop and maintain Web Services and API integrations. Support system integration activities across enterprise applications. Work with i-Support and JTF frameworks. Develop and maintain Web Forms and reports. Perform application customization based on business and technical requirements. Support application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues. Support data migration activities. Provide Oracle CRM and Revenue-related technical support. Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve application issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation where required. Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to relevant stakeholders. Provide 7×24 support when required. Contribute to application improvements and production support activities. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.6+ years of relevant Java development / technical consulting experience. Strong experience with Java and JSP. Knowledge of HTML/HTML5 and XML. Experience with. NET technologies. Experience with i-Support and JTF frameworks. Strong understanding of Web Services, APIs, and system integrations. Experience with Web Forms, reporting, and application customization. Experience supporting application testing and UAT. Knowledge of data migration processes. Experience supporting Oracle CRM / Revenue applications is advantageous. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Good understanding of enterprise application environments. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to provide production support, including 7×24 support when required.
