We are recruiting for a Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Yanbu, Oman. The role reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for the accurate, timely, and professional delivery of project deliverables in accordance with company, client and project requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

Manage the project execution and on-time delivery of new plant installation construction works.

Lead and coordinate the Lycopodium Civil, Concrete, SMP and E&I Team and other construction contractors.

Provide advice and support to the construction team, leveraging experience in process plant and infrastructure construction, operations and maintenance.

Oversee project health and safety performance, ensuring all work aligns with the project HSE management plan.

Ensure compliance with client and project QA/QC requirements and company policies, plans and procedures in collaboration with the Project Engineering Team.

Follow the construction plan and manage overall progress in respect of time, costs, and quality in conjunction with the Project Controls Team.

Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering drawings, design specifications, owner’s standards, and statutory regulations in partnership with the site-based Engineering Team.

Maintain and foster relationships with owners and EPCM engineering and procurement teams regarding technical and commercial matters.

Oversee planned work scopes and ensure job completion adheres to relevant specifications, procedures and schedules.

Promote a positive culture by leading by example, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and engineers.

Attend client progress meetings and maintain a positive relationship with the client.

The expertise you'll bring

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Construction Manager/Superintendent role within a mineral processing plant, infrastructure or project site.

Degree or Diploma qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting/Electrical with professional development training in Project or Maintenance Management, post 10 years from the trade qualification.

Experience in EPC/EPCM/Client/Owner organizations is desirable.

High attention to detail and sound knowledge of HSE policy and procedures.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal employees.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
