Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Construction Execution

Supervise day-to-day fabrication yard activities including:

Structural fabrication

Fit-up and welding

Assembly and erection of modules/jackets

Outfitting and pre-commissioning activities

Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and procedures.

2. Planning & Work Coordination

Coordinate with planning team to execute work as per schedule.

Ensure availability of:

Drawings (latest revisions)

Materials

Manpower and equipment

Prepare daily and weekly work plans.

3. Productivity & Resource Management

Monitor workforce productivity and optimize resource utilization.

Ensure efficient deployment of manpower, tools, and equipment.

Identify and remove bottlenecks affecting progress.

4. Quality Compliance

Ensure fabrication activities comply with:

Project specifications

Approved WPS/PQR

QA/QC procedures

Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and clearances.

Address quality issues and ensure rectification.

5. Safety Management

Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards and procedures.

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Ensure safe working practices in all yard activities (lifting, welding, blasting, etc.).

Report and manage incidents and near misses.
